Hearing evaluations are important to establish how the ears and brain work together to process sound.

The following testing may be completed as part of a hearing evaluation:

FM/DM systems come in many shapes and sizes.

Typically, they will connect to a student's personal amplification on the ear(s) and the teacher will wear a microphone.

(C)APD testing is an important part of any comprehensive audiological evaluation for those that present with appropriate symptoms.

For (C)APD, like with all kids, it's important to be a part of a multidisciplinary team to evaluate the whole student.

Teaching about hearing protection is key in a lifelong healthy hearing program.
